FAQ
Home Diffuser FAQ
How do I set up my home diffuser?
Plug it directly into a central, mid-height outlet and make sure the refill bottle is clicked in all the way. Give it 15–20 minutes to start filling the room.
How long until I can smell it?
Usually 15–20 minutes once it's plugged in at the right height. Floor-level outlets or spots tucked behind furniture will slow things down.
I can't smell anything at all.
Start by checking your outlet height and making sure nothing's blocking airflow. If it's been running a while, your nose may just be used to it — that's totally normal! Step out of the room for 10–15 minutes, or ask a friend, and see if it's there when you come back.
The scent is too strong.
Scent intensity is personal, and our diffusers are built for bigger spaces. Try moving it to a larger room or hallway, or unplug it for a few hours to reset. Want something lighter? Sea Salt Linens is our airiest home scent.
How long does a refill last?
About 40 days on the lowest setting in a standard room. Warmer rooms and higher outlets can speed that up.
There's no mist coming out — is it broken?
Nope, that's by design! Our diffusers release fragrance through a gentle heat-oil process, so there's nothing visible to see — just give it a little time and the scent will build.
The light won't turn on, or it stopped working.
Check that it's in a working outlet and the refill is clicked in all the way. Still nothing? Let us know and we'll get a replacement headed your way.
Is it safe around kids and pets?
Our Air Care refills are free of phthalates and parabens. We recommend a ventilated room rather than a small enclosed space where pets or little ones spend a lot of time, and keeping refills out of reach. For specific health questions, your vet or pediatrician is the best resource.
What if it's leaking?
Unplug it right away and keep it away from kids and pets. Send us a photo and we'll take care of a replacement right away.
Can I clean the warmer?
Yes — unplug it first, then wipe it down with a dry cloth. Wash your hands after handling.
Car Diffuser FAQ
How do I set up my car diffuser?
It's quick: remove the silver seal from the pod, insert it into the vent clip, and clip it onto any standard air vent. Adjust your fan and let your car's airflow do the rest.
Why can't I smell it in my car?
Vent clips rely on airflow, so placement matters a lot. A center dash vent at medium fan speed gives the most consistent throw — AC on full blast can push scent out before you notice it.
It's overwhelming in my car.
Try a rear vent instead (more distance from the driver helps) or lower your fan speed. Sea Salt Linens is our lightest scent if you want something more subtle.
How long should a car refill last?
Heat is the biggest factor — a hot car speeds up how fast the oil releases, especially in summer. Parking in the shade or using a sunshade can help it last longer.
The clip won't stay on my vent.
Try a horizontal slat instead of a vertical one for a better grip. If your vents are round, the sun visor or rearview mirror work as an alternative spot.
It smells different than I expected in my car.
Existing smells in your car (leather, food, old air fresheners) can blend with the fragrance and change how it reads. Tell us the vibe you're going for and we'll help you find a better match.
Can I puncture the pod to make the scent stronger?
Please don't — the pod isn't designed to be opened or punctured. If yours has been punctured, stop using it immediately and send us your info and proof of purchase; we'll get a new one out to you.
